Platinum diamond ring featuring a 2.6ct old European cut centre diamond with 0.15ct pear-shaped shoulders, totalling 2.75ct. The principal diamond was sourced from a brooch made by William Batty, a renowned Manchester jeweller and former Lord Mayor (c.1880). Now reset in a modern mount respecting its heritage. No visible inclusions under 10x magnification. Estimated I/J colour. Hallmarked to the band. Size M½.
